Key Responsibilities
- Process, review, and code vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (2-way/3-way matching)
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Prepare and process weekly or monthly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9 forms and tax documentation
- Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Purchasing, Finance, and Operations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices
- Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
